Anybody watch Celebrity Mole: Yucatan?

Apparently the 2nd installment of Celebrity Mole was on last night, and I totally missed it. Not that I'm really concerned, I feel ABC has ruined one of the best reality shows on the air, turning it into trash.

I loved the first two regular series of this game show. The game stretched out for a month, and the players roomed with each other, allowing them to compare notes and interact far more. The mind games are the best of any reality show in my opinion. The places they visit are beautiful and historic. Unlike Survivor, the best person often does win as opposed to just the least offensive, lowest on radar.

However Celebrity Mole has dumbed down the series to the lowest common denominator. By using the stupidest actors (Baldwin - twice now!), and cutting the series down to one locale and only having half the shows filmed in just a one week period, the audience and contestants are at much more of a disadvantage in guessing the mole. In fact in the last celebrity mole, I believe none of the group had any idea of who the mole was till the final episode.

Well, if anyone watched yesterday's, let me know if it is even worth tuning into for the rest of the short season...

DannyR: Let me know if you want a tape.

Bersen and Baldwin wanted to be back. D-Rod has to be bleeped out. And, you'll like the Mole taxi.

It would be interestin to have a 12 player mole again.... six men, six women... and of those twelve, six would be ordinary people and six would be celebrities.

Write to ABC.

When ABC signed on to make the Celebrity Moles, I thought they also agreed to make another season of the regular Mole. That was a while ago, so I may be mistaken.

As for this season, it's off to a better start than last year. It seems like there's less sitting around and more action.

It was a much better start than the first Celeb Mole was, but that's not really saying much. Amgie Everhart going skinny dipping was nice.

Still very much miss Anderson Cooper and real people doing this show - it was so much better...

According to the TiVo guide, this run of The Mole will be airing as a marathon on ABC Family on February 22nd.

I totally agree! Ahmad Rashad is good, but Anderson Cooper was great as the host. Also agree that they should bring back real people, there's something about celebrities "winning" a six figure prize, which unless I'm mistaken is not earmarked for charity, that kinda sours the show for me.

My choice would be to keep Rashad(Cooper just ain't available anymore!), and dump the celeb's. Don't get me wrong here, I'm no right wing conservative that bashes celeb's at every chance, I just liked the show better when it was real folks.

What would really be interesting is if there were three "real" men, three "real" women, three "celeb" men, and three "celeb" women. That would make things really interesting.

The reason why these "celebrities" win the money for themselves and not for a charity is because most of them can use it. They're has-beens that aren't really involved with anything now except for Celebrity Mole. Just watch the opening - the credits are for shows that ended a long time ago, or even the previous Mole for Stephen & Corbin.

The original mole with regular people and Anderson Cooper as the host was, with no question, one of the best reality shows I have ever seen. I didn't see any add's on ABC (or any other channel) for the return of the mole. I would have watched it if I had known. What time and day is it on each week, can't seem to find it in my guide?
~I want Anderson Cooper back!!!!!!!!!!! Take away the celebrities and put regular people who deserve the money back on the show!!! what took so long for them to make a new episode?? I thought it had been canceled for good.

I couldn't agree more, although I liked the first 'season' better than the second, probably because I knew who it was on the first season after a couple of weeks...
