Audigy 2 vs. TB Santa Cruz
I currently have a Santa Cruz. Is the Audigy 2 a worthy upgrade or should I stay with the Santa Cruz?

I like the Audigy 2, but the Santa Cruz is a great card. If there are not features in the Audigy 2 that you require, I'd just assume stay.
Take it away Zac.

I'd suggest avoiding any Creative Labs product. They tend to not be very good in many areas. I've never actually used an Audigy 2 though, so I must be fair. However, past experience has told me to avoid them. If you want better sound quality - Check out the M-Audio Audiophile 24/96. It doesn't have 5.1 surround sound though. Also check out their new M-Audio Revolution ( http://m-audio.com/products/consumer...tion_page1.php ). I've never heard one of these either, but based on the company's history - I'm looking more forward to actually getting a chance to really try one out than I am with the Audigy 2.

What? I said I've never used the Audigy 2 - but the brand (Creative Labs) has given me a lot of reason to expect bad things? I admitted I hadn't seen it and he should talk to people who actually had? What did I do wrong?

I had a audigy card, and found the card to be ok, BUT the drivers owned my computer. After I installed it it took 30 more seconds to boot and did lock up from time to time..
Bought a santa cruz of Ebay for 50$ and love it
