The screen shots do look great. I can't wait. This is the channel that I wanted in HD more than any other. I watch ESPNEWS all the time.

I noticed this discrepancy also, but first thought maybe Ortiz got traded to Oakland. Then the math would make sense.
Also, Cy Young awards all being announced, NCAA football, NFL (a cold weather game at that), NASCAR, NBA, and MLB games being played on the same day. |

This sounds dumb, but you know what I like in these mockups that I hope makes it to the final version? The clock! We almost always have ESPNews on in the morning while we're getting ready for work and it's nice to see the time at a glance. Sometimes they have it now but not if there is a "breaking news" item in the corner.
That being said, the new design is pretty sweet! Can't wait to see it.
